The pupil teacher relationship is a personal and ongoing one so it's important to find someone with whom you, or your offspring, click. Quite apart from exactly what they teach (in terms of style, say) and how, there needs to be mutual respect and admiration and friendship if it is to flourish so I suggest you do a bit of research, or ask around locally for recommendations.
